An excellent book. It can be estada form written and has published he on done 40 years- in a pre digital age- but some maps and the illustrations are crisp, clear and communicate masses of information effectively. The complex battles are distilled down to informative B&W charts that resupplies the glorious mate to any of some countless works in WW1. My only critique would be some monochrome plans . A revised edition with the illustrations by heart would be welcome.
